Get covered with water paddling on Mayo River - North Fork; you'll discover a pretty lake called Price Mill Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Reedy Fork Creek. it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Proximity Hotel; Mebens Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Dan River Campground is a brilliant local campground. Don't stop me now,
cause I'm havin' a great time here at Mebens Lake. Very wonderful water scenery is available at Mebens Lake Dam near Mebens Lake, and a glorious place to camp here at Mebens Lake is Summit Conference center.

 | 18 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
