Meadow Lake is a nice lake to visit. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hogback Lake is in close proximity to Meadow Lake, and if you're here why not go to Boneyard Gap. Meadow Lake Dam is not far at all from Meadow Lake, and some of the water nearby flows, like Little Hogback Creek. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

| | March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. The fine folks of Brevard like to hang out close by, and if you need a spot to stay Sapphire Valley Resort is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Red Bird Golf Links is a golf course near Meadow Lake, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Fairfield Falls.

Fairfield Lake since you're here at Meadow Lake; it's close by, and if you come at the right time of year, Tuckasegee River offers some magnificent whitewater. Hiking along the Foothills Trail is magnificent fun. You'll need more
than a day to look at everything Meadow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wolf Creek Overlook. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great earth it would be. Hit the slopes at Scaly Mountain close
at hand, and Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a wonderful place to get some rest.
So many exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just astonishing. Going for a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail will let
you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Meadow Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Westridge is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. High temperatures
at Meadow Lake through the summer months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Meadow Lake.
This
lake is so wonderful. Bald Rock Mountain is a peak you can make out from Meadow Lake; drift down the rapids of Whitewater River in a kayak.
