This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Little River, and Sleepy Bear's RV Park is a pleasant campground here. Dry warm beds await you at Village Inn Motel; McNeill       Lake is a great spot to camp, Lazy Acres is a great spot. McNeill Lake Dam is pretty and it's next to McNeill Lake. Lakes? Sure, Lake McNeill is in the vicinity. All the water falling down from the sky makes McNeill Lake a wet location; most of the rain falls during July, and November is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at McNeill Lake. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's.                  For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at McNeill Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
