All the water falling down from the sky makes McKiethan Pond a wet location; the month with most of the rain is July while April is regularly the driest month. Days Inn Raeford is a good location to get some rest, and get soaked paddling on Little River. This lake is so wonderful. At McKiethan Pond you can see Blues Mountain; you're sure to       encounter some smiling people from Southern Pines here. And that's not all you can do here at McKiethan Pond. NC Noname Thirty-Six Dam is a site that is near McKiethan Pond. Lakes are pleasant; Mott Lake is a lake that's close to McKiethan Pond.
