McGuire Lake is a nice lake to visit. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dillsboro, Nc is a good place to spend a night or two, and you could always discover Chestnut Gap. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of McGuire Lake. McGuire Lake Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of McGuire Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Singing waters Camping Resort is a nice location to camp. All year

| | is a pleasant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. There is a brilliant hiking trail close to McGuire Lake called the Caldwell Fork Trail, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Scotts Creek.

the Shortoff Mountain Trail; don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Rocky Face Branch. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at McGuire Lake you can take a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail;
whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Tuckasegee River.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western River Escape Inn & Suites, and camping is available at Moonshine Creek. Life's too short
to enjoy all the fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Cataloochee has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff; on a beautiful day you get a good vista of Buck Knob from McGuire Lake.

Ridge Mountains. At McGuire Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at McGuire Lake.
