In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, McGuire Lake is one of them. Summertime highs at McGuire Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at McGuire Lake are in the 20's. here, and a glorious spot to take a look at nearby is Chestnut Gap. McGuire Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October.
This lake is so wonderful.
Cataloochee is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and you can run the rapids of Tuckasegee River. McGuire Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. McGuire Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and you
can go for a hike on the Caldwell Fork Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail is always a nice adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Azalea Motel & Cottages.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at McGuire Lake. Comfort Inn Sylva is a pleasant location to get some rest, and let's not forget Rocky Face Branch which is a stream that you may bump into while here.
