McGee Dam is a lake worth visiting. Any time is a nice time at McGee Dam if you like the outdoors. If you're here at McGee Dam, you could stop by Bone Camp Creek, and paddling on French Broad River is so much fun. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pounding Mill Trail, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a very magnificent spot to pop by. McGee Dam is located in the Great Smoky Mountains.
The high level of rainfall makes McGee Dam a relatively wet site; during July

| | this area sees the most rain while October is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Mars Hill is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Asheville for sure. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at McGee Dam.

Just can't get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains. Take a hike on the Whiteoak Flats Trail, and Kent Hollow is a brilliant place to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. McGee Dam is a gorgeous place in close proximity to McGee Dam;
Wolf Laurel has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff.
Summertime at McGee Dam arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in
the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for McGee Dam. And that's not all you can do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Walnut Creek, and you can hit the slopes at Ski Beech around here. Hiking along the
Big Creek Trail is perfect fun; McGee Dam is good enough to spend more than a day at, French Broad River Campground is a good local campground.
