McFayden Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. McFayden Pond is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Young Lake near McFayden Pond. There's so much to do here at McFayden Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fayetteville Koa is a pleasant location

Inn Express Spring Lake-Ft. Bragg/Pope Afb, and the Fish Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. There's splendid hiking along the Campbell Creek Loop; Little River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. People from Fayetteville love
to come to McFayden Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything McFayden Pond has to offer, you can camp at Lazy Acres.
