Many people like to go to McFarland Lake. If you came to camp Birchwood RV Park is a glorious place to do that, and Red Mountain is easy to spot from McFarland Lake. While you're here at McFarland Lake, you could also have a look at striking Bollinger Pond; it's a great idea to stop by Deep Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Durham come to McFarland Lake, and close to McFarland Lake you discover a golf course called Lake Winds Golf Course.

McFarland Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and April meanwhile is the driest month. There are some fine whitewater spots on Flat River, and nearby you'll stumble on a wooded vicinity called North Carolina State University
Forest. A good nearby hotel is Red Roof Inn Durham, and McFarland Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Holiday Inn Express Durham, Nc is a magnificent place to get some
rest. There's so much to do here at McFarland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Holly Grove Campground is a glorious site for that.
