All the water falling down from the sky makes McFadyen Lake a wet site; through July this area sees the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. McFadyen Lake is near Beaver Creek Dam which is a lovely place definitely worth stopping at; since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Ole Bluff Golf Course.       Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Cross Creek, and McFadyen Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a magnificent local campground. There are other locations here than McFadyen Lake, for example Arran Lake, and a good location to camp here at McFadyen Lake is Fayetteville Koa. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Little River; the smiling folks of Fayetteville like to hang out close                  by. For the period of the summertime at McFadyen Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at McFadyen Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
