Bridgestreet Corporate Housing Marquis At Crossroads is a pleasant site to get some rest, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cape Fear. McCullers Pond gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is April. Summer at McCullers Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it       cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to McCullers Pond. Camptown RV is a fine campground here; if you're a golfer then a brilliant close by course is Crooked Creek Golf Club. Getting to Mills Branch from McCullers Pond is easy, and if you're popping by from Raleigh-Cary, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Raleigh-Days Inn                  South, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Little Creek Loop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the East Loop Horse Trail. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Matthews Lake Dam is worth a visit if you're here; McCullers Pond is right by the Group Camp Trail.
