What a nice lake McCoys Fishing Lake is. This lake is located in the wonderful Great Smoky Mountains. Through the summertime at McCoys Fishing Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at McCoys Fishing Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. What would winter be without some skiing at Scaly Mountain, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Little Tennessee River. You need to have a look at Coggins Bend since you're here at McCoys Fishing Lake, and the Rartram Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Pyle Dam is a beautiful place in the neighborhood of McCoys Fishing Lake, and going for a hike on the Rufus Morgan Trail is always a wonderful adventure.

So much exciting stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains, not enough time. If you need a spot to stay Franklin-Days Inn is a nice choice, and camping is available at Rose Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Sky
Valley is a great site to do that, and nearby you come across the Wesser Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail. All the outdoors cool things near McCoys Fishing Lake will keep you coming back many times. You get a fine vista of
Hall Mountain from McCoys Fishing Lake, and Cartoogechaye River is a glorious whitewater spot close by.
This place, the Great Smoky Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Microtel Inn Franklin is a magnificent spot to
get some rest, and let's not forget Bradley Creek which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. McCoys Fishing Lake gets a lot of water; July is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least
amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Caler Cove is a nice site to have a look at close by, and why not camp at Riverbend Rv Resort & Campground while you're here at McCoys Fishing Lake.
