In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, McCauley Lake is one of them. McCauley Lake is a reasonably wet place frequently with lots of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is April. You'll need more than a day to look at everything McCauley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cane Creek Campground and RV Park, and if you need a site to stay Days Inn Haw River NC is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful.

There's so much to do here at McCauley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spring Hill Park is a good spot for that, and McCauley Lake Dam is a pretty place. Summertime highs at McCauley Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at McCauley Lake are in the 20's.
