Lakes are brilliant; Vinsons Lake is a lake that's right next door to McCauley Lake. Camping is available at Hidden Lake Campgrounds, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at McCauley Lake Dam close to McCauley Lake. McCauley Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and       April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Burlington here, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Graham City Lake Number Two. If you came for an overnight stay Cane Creek Campground and RV Park is a tremendous site to camp; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Burlington East NC. High temperatures at McCauley Lake during the warm days of summer                  are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at McCauley Lake are in the 20's.
