McCabe Pond is a lake worth visiting. A common amount of rain falls here at McCabe Pond; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Near McCabe Pond you come across the Side Hill Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and camping is available at Big willow Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Big Hungry Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Alpine woods RV Park is a tremendous

This lake is so wonderful. At McCabe Pond you can catch a sight of Glassy Mountain, and the Mullinax Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. The warmest time of the year at McCabe Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at McCabe Pond plunge into the 20's. | |

Front Lake Dam is not far at all from McCabe Pond, and of course Freeman Creek flows through this vicinity.
This site, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things. In case you don’t have a problem getting
soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River; a great close by hotel is Bent Oaks. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is a fine hiking trail near McCabe Pond called the
Shut-In Trail; Highland Lake Golf Club is a good golf course close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things close to McCabe Pond. If you need a place to stay Lodge at Rhett Mill is a perfect choice, and a trip to Blue
Ridge Parkway is recommended.
What a site this is for outdoors people. Lots of folks from Asheville come to McCabe Pond. McCabe Pond is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll come across a charming lake called Bonclarken Lake near McCabe Pond, and as expected, A spree to Mine Gap is always fun.
