     If you need a place to stay Fayetteville Red Roof Inn is a tremendous choice, and camping is available at Laurel Lakes Campground and Music Park. What a place this is for outdoors people. A quick spree to Buck Creek near Maxwell Millpond is a good idea. Maxwell Millpond is a quite wet place commonly with a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls through August, and October is when it's the driest. Upper Little River is a wonderful whitewater spot next  
   to Maxwell Millpond; lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Vinson Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn Fayetteville/Wade-North of Ft Bragg I-95/Exit 58 is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there are other sites here than Maxwell Millpond, for example Gainey Millpond. Here at Maxwell Millpond you'll most likely meet some folks from Fayetteville; camping at Fayetteville Koa is always a magnificent experience. Summertime highs at Maxwell

Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
