If you are in Rutherford county it's always a good idea to stop by Matt Brooks Lake. Matt Brooks Lake gets a good deal of water; most of the rain falls throughout March, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Jameson Inn Forest City is a tremendous place to get some rest, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Buncomb Branch. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Matt Brooks Lake called the Bald Mountain Trail; Matt Brooks Dam has pleasant water scenery. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. The top of Camel Knob is easily observed from Matt Brooks Lake. There's so much to do here at Matt Brooks
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake James Landing is a nice place for that. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Matt Brooks Lake is good enough to spend more than
a day at, River Creek Campground is a good local campground. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Marion Days Inn is a pleasant choice, and get wet paddling on Broad River.
