    It's always fun to stop by Marshall Watershed Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Dixon Trail, and High Knob is a peak you can make out from Marshall Watershed Lake. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Creekside Inn; camping at Marshall Watershed Lake is brilliant fun, Hot Springs Resort and Spa is a brilliant local campground. Yeah, come up  
   here to the Great Smoky Mountains for a pleasant time. Go for a hike on the Pounding Mill Trail; Round Knob Campground is a delightful campground here.
Any time is a delightful time at Marshall Watershed Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. You'll meet a lot of folks from Asheville here. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Mars Hill is a great location to spend a night or two, and visiting Blue Ridge Parkway is just something you need to do if you
 
               haven't yet. The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
Through the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Marshall Watershed Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Marshall Watershed Lake. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Marshall Watershed Lake. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Brush Creek, and close by you stumble on Allman Hollow which is a magnificent place to go to. Take a side tour to Appletree Branch; don't leave Marshall Watershed Lake without first going for a hike along the Whiteoak Flats Trail.
Gotta ski! Ski Beech is a good place to do that, also NC Noname Two-Hundred Thirteen Dam is worth a visit since you're here. Marshall Watershed Lake gets a lot of water; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Walnut Creek; everyone nearby loves skiing at Wolf Laurel.
