    What a nice lake Marshall Ash Pond is. Marshall Ash Pond is a beautiful lake in the Great Smoky Mountains. Just can't get enough of Marshall Ash Pond. High temperatures at Marshall Ash Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Marshall Ash Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Dry warm beds await you at Lambuth
 
   Inn; Marshall Ash Pond Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. Camping at Lonesome Pine Campground is always a pleasant experience, and Cansadie Top is clearly visible from Marshall Ash Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Marshall Ash Pond is Hurricane Creek, and going for a hike on the Caldwell Fork Trail is always a delightful adventure.
Gem Motel is a perfect place to get some rest,
 
               and there are great places to discover along the Palmer Creek Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Marshall Ash Pond. Marshall Ash Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Creekwood Farm RV Park is a great local campground, and some of the water nearby flows, like Big Branch. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Newport here at Marshall Ash Pond; get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Pigeon River.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains. The skiing at Cataloochee is fine; playing golf is lots of fun at Iron Tree Golf Course. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Davis Cove is near Marshall Ash Pond and is unquestionably a great spot to take a look at; close by you find the Asbury Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Marshall Ash Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while October is ordinarily the driest month.
