It's always fun to stop by Lake Marsh. Lake Marsh sees pretty high levels of rain; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is April. So much fun stuff near Lake Marsh, definitely striking. For you golfers we recommend close by Lakes Country Club, and dry warm beds await you at Bald Head Island Limited. A short trip to Boiling Spring is always worthwhile, and a good site to camp here at Lake Marsh is Carolina Beach Campground.

| | Campground is always a great experience, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Southport is a great choice. If you're visiting Lake Marsh from Wilmington, you won't be the only one. Blue Gill Pond is a delightful lake right next door to Lake Marsh; Boiling Spring Lake Dam is a striking place, positively worth visiting.
Throughout the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Marsh, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. | |

For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Lake Marsh. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not stop at North Lake near Lake Marsh, and getting to Moore Creek from Lake Marsh is uncomplicated.
