What a nice lake Mars Hill Reservoir is. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mars Hill Reservoir with overnight lows in the 60's. at Mars Hill Reservoir Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Mars Hill Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Bald Mountain Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and the best way to spend
a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wolf Laurel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Mars Hill is a magnificent choice; on a gorgeous day you obtain a great view of Elk Wallow Knob from Mars Hill
Reservoir. And that's not all there is to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Blue Ridge Parkway is a very wonderful location to stop by close to Mars Hill Reservoir, and a perfect location to explore close by is McKinney Gap.

we recommend Spivey Creek. The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Some close by water includes Miller Branch. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mars Hill Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Nolichucky Gorge Campground.
