The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mars Hill Reservoir with overnight lows in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Mars Hill Reservoir tend to be in the 20's. The snow is brilliant at Ski Beech, and Mars Hill Reservoir is right by the Bald Mountain Trail. Mars Hill Reservoir is a relatively wet place usually with       a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Just can't get enough of the Great Smoky Mountains. Hiking along the No Business Trail is good fun, and there's whitewater on Nolichucky River for all you adrenaline people. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Mars Hill Reservoir will keep you coming back repeatedly. Take a hike on the Granny Lewis Trail, and the scenery                  at Mars Hill Reservoir Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Mars Hill Reservoir is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Bald Mountain Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wolf Laurel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Mars Hill is a magnificent choice; on a gorgeous day you obtain a great view of Elk Wallow Knob from Mars Hill Reservoir. And that's not all there is to do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Blue Ridge Parkway is a very wonderful location to stop by close to Mars Hill Reservoir, and a perfect location to explore close by is McKinney Gap. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Mars Hill Reservoir is so good!
