In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Mars Hill Reservoir is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Wolf Laurel and strap some skis to your feet, and some nearby water includes Miller Branch. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Mars Hill Reservoir called the No Business Trail; Mars Hill Reservoir Dam has tremendous water scenery. | | wettest with most of the rain; October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Bald Mountain Campground is a nice campground here, and a day on the slopes of Ski Beech is just what you need. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Mars Hill Reservoir. The Granny Lewis Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Mars Hill Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay Wolf Laurel Inn is a good choice. to the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows at Mars Hill Reservoir all through the wintertime commonly descend into the 20's. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Great Smoky

time in the Great Smoky Mountains is painless. On a magnificent day at Mars Hill Reservoir you can take a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail, and here at Mars Hill Reservoir you can make out Elk Wallow Knob.
