At Mallard Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Mallard Lake during the winter generally descend into the 20's. Blanket Creek is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, South Yadkin River offers some fine whitewater. After a long day       outdoors Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc is a good place to spend a night or two; the scenery at Haynes Estate Dam Number One is scenic. Mallard Lake generally gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most, and November on the other hand is the driest. Camping at Thousand Trails is always a perfect experience, and if you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Salem Glen Country Club. This lake                  is so wonderful. Mallard Lake is not far at all from Winston-Salem; if you get bored of Mallard Lake you could also stop at nearby Haynes Estate Lake Number One. Be careful coming to Mallard Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Dry warm beds await you at Village Inn Golf & Conference Ctr; drift down the rapids of Yadkin River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
