Summertime highs at Mahler Pond generally tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's while Mahler Pond overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. A magnificent       place to camp here at Mahler Pond is Silver Creek Campground and whitewater Outfitters. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Green River offers some nice whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Mahlers Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Mahler Pond, and you can catch a sight of Mockingbird Hill from Mahler Pond. Mahler Pond is                  a reasonably wet place commonly with a good deal of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and April meanwhile is the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit North Pacolet River, and Mahler Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hitching Post Campground is a glorious local campground.
