The beauty of Madonna Lake attracts many people from all around. The amount of precipitation that falls at Madonna Lake is close to the national average; through March this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Blue Ridge Parkway is a great national park; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Mullinax Trail. From Madonna

| | Lake you obtain a wonderful sight of Glassy Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Lodge at Rhett Mill is a good spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Side Hill Trail is always a fine adventure. There's so much to do here at Madonna Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alpine woods RV Park is a great spot for that. You clearly should love Madonna Lake. of close by Ski Beech. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Madonna Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Madonna Lake.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Madonna Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Asheville, and whitewater paddling is nice on Green River.
Playing golf is lots of fun at Highland Lake Golf Club; as expected King Creek is a striking stream that is worth stopping at.
And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
There are great places to explore along the Shut-In Trail; you'll find a pretty lake called Bonclarken Lake. Stay the night at Big willow Campground, and if you need a place to stay Bent Oaks is a nice choice. Yep, outdoors fun stuff
to do are in fact abundant here at Madonna Lake. Get wet paddling on Big Hungry Creek, and an out of the ordinary thing to check out close to Madonna Lake is Rhett Mill Dam.
