Lyles Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Foothills Family Campground is a delightful local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Island Creek. Ramada Limited Forest City is a great site to get some rest, and some of the water close by flows, like Grays Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lyles Lake you'll probably meet some people from Forest City, and if you're here and you like       golf, you can explore Cleghorn Plantation Golf Club. The high level of rainfall makes Lyles Lake a relatively wet location; March is when you get the most rain here while January is regularly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Lyles Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Ridge Campground is a brilliant place for that, and soar down the rapids of Broad River in a kayak. Just can't get enough of Lyles Lake. If you need a spot                  to stay Super 8 Motel - Spindale/Frst City/Rfdt Area is a fine choice. At Lyles Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
