A golf course near Lyles Lake is Cleghorn Plantation Golf Club, and if you're popping by from Forest City, you won't be the only one. A brilliant nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Forest City; hey, Grays Creek is a splendid local stream. The high level of precipitation makes Lyles Lake a rather wet site; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; January is the month with the least       moisture. Super 8 Motel - Spindale/Frst City/Rfdt Area is a great place to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Island Creek. If you came for an overnight stay Foothills Family Campground is a great location to camp; there are some fine whitewater spots on Broad River. At Lyles Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this                  place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Lyles Lake throughout the wintertime usually fall into the 20's. And that's not all you can do here at Lyles Lake.
