Really splendid skiing awaits you at Ski Beech, obviously you could also go to Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Lyday Lake has it all. While you're here at Lyday Lake you can take a hike along the Mullinax Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn By Marriott Asheville. Lyday Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March is       when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc is a great place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Lyday Lake. If the weather is great here at Lyday Lake, you can go for a hike along the Laurel Mountain Trail; why not camp at Little River Camping Resort                  while you're here at Lyday Lake. For the period of the summer months highs here at Lyday Lake get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lyday Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Lyday Lake is a place with many visitors from Asheville, and a great place is Jim Gap. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club, also Forge Mountain Grist Mill Dam is worth checking out if you're here. So much entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just extraordinary. Blue Ridge Parkway is a brilliant local destination here at Lyday Lake, and you can run the rapids of Little River. This lake is so wonderful. Brock Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Lyday Lake, and a delightful spot to camp here at Lyday Lake is Mountain Laurel Resort. Some of the water nearby flows, like Betty Branch, and if you've had enough of Lyday Lake, Silver Lake is close by. And that's not all you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
