Lyday Lake is a nice lake to visit. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lyday Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Little River Camping Resort is a great local campground; a glorious nearby hotel is Etowah Valley Country Club. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Lyday Lake is right by the Laurel Mountain Trail, and Forge Mountain Grist Mill Dam is wonderful. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains,

| | just tremendous. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River, and there are plenty of folks from Asheville here at Lyday Lake. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Hiking along the Shut-In Trail is great fun, and do pay a visit to Blue Ridge Parkway if you're here at Lyday Lake.

is delightful, and Ski Beech is a very popular ski area in close proximity. Take a little spree to Betty Branch while you're here at Lyday Lake. There's so much to do here at Lyday Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain
Laurel Resort is a good place for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lyday Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the
40's while Lyday Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mullinax Trail. Lakes are nice;
Forge Mountain Grist Mill Lake is a lake that's right next door to Lyday Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Little River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby; a great spot to pop by nearby is Jim Gap. Man, is there plenty
of entertaining stuff to do next to Lyday Lake. A golf course close to Lyday Lake is Cummings Cove Golf & Country Club; if you need a site to stay Greens View Lodge is a magnificent choice.
A great deal of rainfall falls at Lyday Lake; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
