This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lowery Lake; Cascade Trail is a pleasant local trail; camping at Tanglewood Family Resort is always a glorious experience. Good hiking is available along the Moores Knob Trail; Voglers Lake is a fine lake close by. Through the long summer days at Lowery Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. High temperatures       during the winter are normally in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Lowery Lake. The wonderful people of Winston-Salem like to hang out nearby, and there are other places here than Lowery Lake, for example Reynolds Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Shamrock Farm Dam is a stunning location near Lowery Lake, and paddling on Yadkin River is so much fun. Go for a hike on the Cooks Wall Trail; while you're here you can play some golf at Grandview Golf Club.                  You definitely have to have a thing about Lowery Lake. Camping is available at Jomeokee Campground, and after a long day outdoors Clemmons Super 8 Motel is a glorious location to spend a night or two.
