Why not stop at nearby Tomahawk Creek if you're here at Lowery Lake; close by you locate the Moores Knob Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Lowery Lake has it all. Camping at Lowery Lake is good fun, Tanglewood Family Resort is a good local campground, and the Cooks Wall Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       Going for a hike on the Cascade Trail is always a fine adventure. At Lowery Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lowery Lake are in the 20's. You can run the rapids of Yadkin River close to Lowery Lake, unsurprisingly you could also visit Alsups Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. There's always                  Shamrock Farm Dam to go to close to Lowery Lake, and after a long day outdoors Clemmons Super 8 Motel is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Grandview Golf Club is a golf course in the vicinity of Lowery Lake, and the great people of Winston-Salem like to hang out nearby. Lowery Lake is a glorious place to camp, Pioneer Village Family Campground is a glorious place; Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc is a brilliant site to get some rest.
