All through the summertime at Lowery Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lowery Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. And that's not all you can do here at Lowery Lake. Clemmons Super 8 Motel is a glorious location to       get some rest, and playing golf is lots of fun at Grandview Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of folks from Winston-Salem here at Lowery Lake, and if you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Beauchamp Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lowery Lake you can take a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lowery Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tanglewood Family Resort.                  On a nice day at Lowery Lake you can take a hike along the Moores Knob Trail, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Alsups Pond. A splendid close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Clemmons, Nc. There's so much to do here at Lowery Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jomeokee Campground is a delightful location for that. Lowery Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Not far from Lowery Lake you obtain some nice water scenery at Shamrock Farm Dam, and there's whitewater on Yadkin River for all you thrill seekers.
