A lot of rainfall falls at Lowery Lake; March is the wettest month with most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. An afternoon playing golf at Grandview Golf Club is always a bliss, and the wonderful people of Winston-Salem       like to hang out close by. All through the summertime months here at Lowery Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lowery Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling                  on Yadkin River, and do explore Voglers Lake, it's a delightful lake. Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA) is a magnificent place to get some rest, and Tanglewood Family Resort is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day at Lowery Lake you can take a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail, and the scenery at Shamrock Farm Dam is beautiful.
