Inn Winston-Salem, and there are brilliant places to look at along the Cascade Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Grubbs Lake, and close by you discover the Cooks Wall Trail which is a
good hiking trail. You're sure to stumble upon some wonderful folks from Winston-Salem here. There's so much to do here at Lower Temora Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sunset Park Campground is a splendid place for
that. If you're here at Lower Temora Lake and you like golf, you can check out Stonewall Golf Course; going for a hike on the Hanging Rock Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is perfect
on Dan River, and not far from Lower Temora Lake you'll come across Creeson Lake which is a gorgeous lake. Lower Temora Lake commonly gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month of the year is November.

 | 12 miles away Hwy 772 access as been roped off with No-Trespassing signs. This access is used a lot during the summer months, but evidently it is private property or someone is confused.
Thought I'd let you know this since it's only a few miles from my house. That's a nice place to get in the river, but evidently somebody don't like the general public to use it. ... |
