Lower Temora Lake is right                  by the Cooks Wall Trail, and you can stay the night at Moores Springs Campground on the Dan River. Lower Temora Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail is perfect fun, and at Lower Temora Lake Dam right next door to Lower Temora Lake there are some exciting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Dan River; going for a hike along the Cascade Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
