This lake is so wonderful. McKellars Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and don't leave Lower McKellars Pond without first going for a hike along the American Beech Trail. There are great sites to look at along the Campbell Creek Loop; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Fayetteville. Lower McKellars Pond gets       a lot of water; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while November is frequently the driest month. Visit Cypress Creek while you're here at Lower McKellars Pond; Lazy Acres is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Lower McKellars Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Upper McKellars Pond; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Little River. Just can't get enough of Lower McKellars Pond.
