Lower Lake is a site with many visitors from Lexington-Thomasville, and Lower Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Oak Hollow Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby. Throughout the warm months at Lower Lake highs are typically in the       80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while Lower Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. There's some interesting stuff to observe at Bob Cat Acres Lake Dam right next door to Lower Lake, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lakewood Par 3 Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Thomasville is a good                  site to spend a night or two, and Middle Lake is a brilliant lake close by. A lot of rainfall falls at Lower Lake; through July this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
