There are plenty of folks from Winston-Salem here at Lower Angel Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Joyners Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Angel Lake is a delightful spot to camp, Sunset Park Campground is a delightful spot; Holiday Inn Express Kernersville, Nc is a perfect place to get some rest. The high level of rain makes Lower Angel Lake       a relatively wet site; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. An afternoon playing golf at Pine Tree Golf Club is always a bliss; hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail is wonderful fun. Lower Angel Lake Dam is a lovely place next to Lower Angel Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Dcu Inn Hotel is a brilliant choice. So many enjoyable things to do here at Lower Angel Lake, too delightful to be true. Humphrey's                  Ridge Camp is a perfect campground here, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Cooks Wall Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Dan River. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Lower Angel Lake get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Lower Angel Lake tend to be in the 20's.
