It's always fun to stop by Loves Lake. Go for a hike on the Moores Knob Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites. Loves Lake is a relatively wet place regularly with much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. Serenity Stables and Campground is a great campground nearby, and drift down the rapids of Dan River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along

| | the Cooks Wall Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Mount Airy here at Loves Lake. For the period of the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Loves Lake, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Loves Lake are in the 20's. local campground. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Loves Lake is peerless! After a long day outdoors Microtel Suites Mt. Airy is a brilliant place to spend a night or two; you can take a little spree to Loves Pond Dam while you're here at Loves Lake.
