    In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Loves Lake is one of them. An out of the ordinary thing to explore near Loves Lake is Loves Pond Dam; why not take a refreshing hike along the Run Trail. Summer at Loves Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Loves Lake are in the 20's. This lake  
   is so wonderful. Loves Lake is not far at all from Mount Airy; Loves Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Village Family Campground is a fine local campground.
If you need a site to stay Mt. Airy Knights Inn is a nice choice; Loves Lake is right by the Moores Knob Trail. A great deal of rain falls at Loves Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January.
You'll wish for
 
               more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Loves Lake. Drift down the rapids of Dan River in a kayak, and do take a hike on the Cooks Wall Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and a brilliant location to camp here at Loves Lake is Meadows Of Dan Campground.
