     Loraine Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a tremendous local campground; a lake nearby is Lommond Lake. Stewart Creek is near Loraine Lake and is always a delight to have a look at, and why not check out Loraine Lake Dam since you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Loraine Lake a relatively wet site; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. For the period of the months  
   of summer at Loraine Lake highs are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while Loraine Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
And that's not all you can do here at Loraine Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Cross Creek, and Ole Bluff Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Value Place Fayetteville
 
               CD is a great location to get some rest, and glide down the rapids of Little River in a kayak.
Loraine Lake is not the only place close by, Hutaff Lake is a close by lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Fayetteville here.

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
