    In North Carolina there are many beautiful lakes, Loraine Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Loraine Lake and you like golf, you can go to Ole Bluff Golf Course, and you'll discover a gorgeous lake called Hutaff Lake. Loraine Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is November. Why not camp at Lazy Acres since you're here at Loraine Lake; you're  
   sure to come across some nice folks from Fayetteville here.
Summertime highs at Loraine Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Loraine Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Little River, and a great close by hotel is Comfort Inn Cross Creek.

I can be reached at, yellowcheeks2001@yahoo.  We just bought a boat and don't know of any good size lakes to go to. If you know of a good spot, let me know....Good Lake for canoeing, but you have to stay near the creeks or geat a membership for 120 or so....

Smith Lake
Smith lake is a nice place to camp, bike ride and swim. I have 3 young children and they had a BLAST! We plan on going again very soon. Bathrooms were clean and out of some of the campsites I've been to this is the one I like....Nice area for hiking, running, mt biking.  Also nice beach area for the summer....
