Long Valley Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Long Valley Lake is a wet site that gets much rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Stradley Cove is a wonderful place to explore in the neighborhood of Long Valley Lake, and Long Valley Lake is a brilliant spot to visit

| | for more than one day, R V Park & Campground is a brilliant spot to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Long Valley Lake is not the only place close by, Westerly Lake is a close by lake, and the Side Hill Trail is a great hiking trail close by. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Long Valley Lake, so little time. Stay the night at Bear Creek RV Park and Campground, and if you come at the right | |

time of year, Swannanoa River offers some nice whitewater. Just can't get enough of Long Valley Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit French Broad River, and nearby you come across the Laurel Mountain Trail which is a tremendous
hiking trail. That right there is a load of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. An afternoon playing golf at Municipal Golf Course is always a pleasure, and there are plenty of people from
Asheville here at Long Valley Lake. Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the destinations close to Long Valley Lake that are pleasant to go to, and after a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Asheville-I-26 Biltmore Square is a pleasant site to
spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. The Lagoon is in the vicinity and always delightful to visit, and hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Beech is a delightful place to do that. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood
of Long Valley Lake called the Shut-In Trail, and getting to Austin Branch from Long Valley Lake is simple. A nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Asheville-Biltmore Square Mall, and if you've had enough of Long
Valley Lake, Dellwood Lake is nearby. Summertime at Long Valley Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Long Valley Lake nighttime low
temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Wolf Laurel.
