If you are in this part of North Carolina make sure to pay a visit to Long Valley Lake. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not camp at R V Park & Campground while you're here at Long Valley Lake; get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of French Broad River. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Long Valley Lake. Enjoy a round of golf at Municipal Golf Course

When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are commonly in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Long Valley Lake tend to be in the 20's.

on the Laurel Mountain Trail. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! Blue Ridge Parkway is a brilliant national park, and you are near The Lagoon since you're here. The high level of rainfall
makes Long Valley Lake a quite wet spot; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October.
You can run the rapids of Swannanoa River near Long Valley
Lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Asheville-Biltmore Square Mall is a great choice. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Do visit
Dellwood Lake near Long Valley Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Long Valley Lake.
You can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Beech, and Bear Creek RV Park and Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Wolf Laurel, and Austin Branch is near
Long Valley Lake and is always a diversion to visit. Hampton Inn Asheville-I-26 Biltmore Square is a great place to get some rest, and Long Valley Lake is right by the Shut-In Trail.
A scenic lake like Westerly Lake right next door to Long Valley Lake is a pleasant place to visit, and the Side Hill Trail offers hiking at its best.
