Summer brings highs in the 80's to Long Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Long Pond dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. Swamps are exciting places and Buzzard Lead near Long Pond is no exception, and camping is available at Currituck Resort Shores. This lake is so wonderful. Currituck       Beach is near Long Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and why not camp at Adventure Bound Campground while you're here at Long Pond. You'll hit upon a scenic lake called Canvasback Pond near Long Pond, and Brant Island Pond is not far at all. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are in fact bountiful here at Long Pond. Dry warm beds await you at The Inn At Corolla Light; THE INN AT COROLLA LIGHT is a great place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the                  Jeep Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and in the vicinity of Long Pond you discover a golf course called Goose Creek Golf & Country Club.
