An afternoon playing golf at Little River Golf Club is always a pleasure, and if you came for an overnight stay Heritage Camping and Recreation is a great spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Long Leaf Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and a perfect close by hotel is Little River Golf & Resort. Long Leaf Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; during July this area sees the most rain, and April       is when it's the driest. Pine Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground, and needless to say Wads Creek flows through this region. Lakes? Sure, Shadow Lake is in the neighborhood, and Comfort Inn Pinehurst is a wonderful place to get some rest. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Long Leaf Lake. Soar down the rapids of Deep River in a kayak, and there are other spots here than Long Leaf Lake, for example Pinehurst Water Supply Reservoir.                  At Long Leaf Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's.
