You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Loraine Lake near Lommond Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Fayetteville here; do take a look at McFadyen Lake, it's a striking lake. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to make out at Loraine Lake Dam right next door to Lommond Lake, and hey, Persimmon Creek is a nice local stream.       The high level of rain makes Lommond Lake a pretty wet site; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is November. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Lommond Lake. Lommond Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a splendid local campground, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Cross Creek is a magnificent choice. Near Lommond Lake you come across a golf course                  called Ole Bluff Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Value Place Fayetteville CD is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Lommond Lake get into the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's.
