This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A wonderful nearby hotel is Master Hosts - Alleghany Inn, and a lake close by is Camp Cheerio Lake. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. After a long day outdoors Galax Knights Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; a golf course nearby is Olde Beau       Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Little Glade Millpond to catch a glimpse of the water at Van Dillon Dam, and get dripping wet paddling on Elk Creek. Good hiking is available along the Yellow Branch Trail; some nearby water includes Haynes Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Little Glade Millpond from North Wilkesboro, you won't be the only one, and the view of Ellis Knoll is beautiful. Through the                  summertime here at Little Glade Millpond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Little Glade Millpond all through the winter generally fall into the 10's.
