There's so much to do here at Linville Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Humphrey's Ridge Camp is a great place for that. Lakes are great; Foglemans Lake is a lake that's near Linville Lake. After a long day outdoors Embassy Suites Greensboro Airport is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dan River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Linville Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. fun at Dawn Acres Golf Club, and Linville Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Oak Hollow Campground is a delightful local campground. Linville Lake is a quite wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; through July
this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Greensboro-High Point Marriott Airport is a delightful spot to get some rest, and the scenery at Linville Dam is scenic.
