You'll need more than a day to discover everything Linville Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tanglewood Family Resort, and hiking along the Cooks Wall Trail is magnificent fun. While you're here at Linville Lake you can take a hike along the Cascade Trail; there are other spots here than Linville Lake, for example Doug Young Lake Number Two. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Linville Lake. Grassy       Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay, and K and W Lake is a splendid lake nearby. Going for a hike along the Moores Knob Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. All the water falling down from the sky makes Linville Lake a wet location; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. An interesting thing to explore in the neighborhood                  of Linville Lake is Linville Lake Dam. There's so much to do here at Linville Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Jomeokee Campground is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Big Creek next to Linville Lake; after a long day outdoors Residence Inn By Marriott Winston/Salem is a splendid location to spend a night or two. There's whitewater on Dan River for all you adrenaline kick people, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn University is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Linville Lake is a location with many visitors from Winston-Salem, and golf can be played at Grandview Golf Club. All through the months of summer highs here at Linville Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
