Whitewater paddling is great on South Yadkin River, and a quick spree to Dunkers Creek is without doubt a good idea. Here at Lingle Lake there are plenty of folks from Lexington-Thomasville, and why not check out Lingle Lake Dam while you're here. Having a pleasant time at Lingle Lake is simple. Tanglewood Family Resort is a nice local campground, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites       LEXINGTON NW-THE VINEYARD is a tremendous place to get some rest. Lingle Lake gets a good deal of water; most of the rain falls all through March, and the driest month is November. This lake is so wonderful. Glossons Lake Number One is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; why not camp at Thousand Trails if you're here at Lingle Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lingle Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. For the duration                  of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lingle Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
