    The beauty of Leonard Phillips Lake is reason enough to stop by. All through the long summer days here at Leonard Phillips Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Leonard Phillips Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All the water falling down from  
   the sky makes Leonard Phillips Lake a wet location; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Mauney Gap is always fun. You can take a little trip to Leonard Phillips Dam since you're here at Leonard Phillips Lake, and Leonard Phillips Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Santeetlah RV Park and Storage
 
               is a splendid location to camp nearby. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Great Smoky Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Leonard Phillips Lake has to offer, you can camp at Teaberry Hill, and swing by Atoah Creek it's a nice spot to have a look at.
Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is plentiful here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Good hiking is available along the CHoga Trail, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Highland Manor Inn And Conference Center. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. You can spot Cooper Knob from Leonard Phillips Lake, and Santeetlah River is a good whitewater spot close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and you can run the rapids of Snowbird Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Nantahala Cabins is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Leonard Phillips Lake; Long Hungry Ridge Trail is a great local trail.
