High temperatures at Lee Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 80's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lee Lake are in the 20's. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Kernersville is a great spot to spend a       night or two, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express KERNERSVILLE. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a striking lake called Lower Angel Lake near Lee Lake; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Cooks Wall Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Lee Lake. Going for a hike on the Hanging Rock Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Pine Tree Golf Club is a tremendous golf course close by. There are some pleasant                  whitewater spots on Dan River, and why not camp at Oak Hollow Campground while you're here at Lee Lake. A pretty lake like Upper Angel Lake in the neighborhood of Lee Lake is a nice place to visit, and you'll meet a lot of people from Winston-Salem here. The high level of rainfall makes Lee Lake a relatively wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
