This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Hendersonville is a perfect choice; there's whitewater on Green River for all you adrenaline junkies. There's always Laurel Park Lake Dam to have a look at near Laurel Park Lake, and a short journey to Crystal Spring is always worthwhile. So many cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains,       just amazing. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at The Waverly Inn, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Shut-In Trail. Bollers Knob is lovely and can be seen from Laurel Park Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Rainbow Lake. For the duration of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Laurel Park Lake, and                  through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Laurel Park Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Big Hungry Creek in close proximity to Laurel Park Lake, and do take a hike on the Side Hill Trail. All year is a nice time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Stay the night at Big willow Campground; naturally, all our national parks are great sites to go to and Blue Ridge Parkway is no exception. Laurel Park Lake is a good location of common precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Laurel Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Alpine woods RV Park; there's some flowing water nearby, Finley Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Laurel Park Lake. Lakes? Sure, Temple Terrace Lake is close at hand, and lots of people from Asheville come here.
