Laurel Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a brilliant time. It's always great to explore Crabtree Falls; in the vicinity of Laurel Lake you find a golf course called Grassy Creek Golf & Country Club. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. Buckner Dam is an exciting thing to check out;       there are some nice whitewater spots on Catawba River - North Fork. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Laurel Lake. Here at Laurel Lake you can see Crabtree Mountain; lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Buckner Lake. Near Laurel Lake you stumble on the Bald Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail; Blue Ridge Gemstone Mine and Campground is a delightful campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
