Fred Bahnson Number Two Lake is nearby, and why not go to Lasater Mill Pond Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA) is a fine location to spend a night or two, and there are some great whitewater spots on Yadkin River. Lasater Lake gets a large amount of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest       month is November. Dry warm beds await you at Village Inn Golf & Conference Center, and hey, Blanket Creek is a good local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Lasater Lake is not the only location close by, Lasater Mill Pond is a close by lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lasater Lake has to offer, you can camp at Thousand Trails. For the duration of the months of summer here at Lasater Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's,                  and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lasater Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Lasater Lake will keep you coming back again and again. A golf course close to Lasater Lake is Salem Glen Country Club; Lasater Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Tanglewood Family Resort is a nice location to camp nearby.
