McGee Pond is a lake in close proximity, and camping is available at Broadreach Summer Adventures. Lakes are splendid; Massengill Mill Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Langdon Pond, and this is a popular place for folks from Raleigh-Cary.       At Langdon Pond all through the summertime highs are in the 80's.
