Country Hearth Inn Knightdale is a magnificent location to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Land Pond, Perrys Pond is nearby. During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Land Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Land Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Land Pond a rather wet site; most
of the rain falls during August, and April is when it's the driest. A wonderful close by hotel is Days Inn Louisburg; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Zebulon Country Club.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Lands Pond if you're here at Land Pond; it's close by, and you don’t have to go far from Land Pond to catch a sight of the water at Lands Pond Dam. If you don’t

have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neuse River, and a delightful site to camp here at Land Pond is Rock Ridge Campground.

Beaverdam Lake
18 miles away
Beaverdam Lake is really a part of Falls Lake. It is approximately fifteen minutes north of the I-540 beltway on Highway 50. Beaverdam Lake is separated from the main lake by a partial dam and bridge. It is approximately 500 acres in size.

Beaverdam Lake is restricted; no gasoline engines are allowed. This makes it a great place for kayaks, canoes, sailboats and electric-motor propelled boats. It has a very nice concrete boat ramp and adjacent dock, and has a very large parking lot. Adjacent to the boat launching ramp is a nice sand beach with floats delineating the swimming area and a small pavilion.

This is a very nice quiet clean campground, my family and I really enjoy camping there. The staff is friendly there is a nice pond for fishing and great swimming pool. We only live 30 miles from the campground
but always nice just to get away no matter how far you go.
