During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 80's at Land Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Land Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Land Pond a rather wet site; most       of the rain falls during August, and April is when it's the driest. A wonderful close by hotel is Days Inn Louisburg; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Zebulon Country Club. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Lands Pond if you're here at Land Pond; it's close by, and you don’t have to go far from Land Pond to catch a sight of the water at Lands Pond Dam. If you don’t                  have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Neuse River, and a delightful site to camp here at Land Pond is Rock Ridge Campground.   Days Inn Louisburg, Louisburg 8 miles away Centrally located from all businesses.
