After a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Roanoke Rapids is a delightful location to spend a night or two; The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads is a great local campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Williams; Dam Site Loop Trail is a good local trail; in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roanoke River. Lake Williams is a delightful site to visit for       more than one day, Cattail Creek Campground is a delightful site to camp nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Black Duck Creek is a stream you can stop by while here. High temperatures at Lake Williams all through the summertime months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lake Williams. This lake is so wonderful.                  Rochelle Pond Dam is beautiful and it's near Lake Williams, and at Lake Williams you always meet someone from Roanoke Rapids. Lake Williams commonly gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and April is the month with the least moisture.
