A nice place to camp here at Lake Walter is Fayetteville Koa, and dry warm beds await you at Fayetteville Inn & Suites. Lake Walter in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. You can run the rapids of Little River close to Lake Walter, and you'll probably meet some folks from Fayetteville here. This lake is so wonderful. A quick journey to Branson Creek next to Lake Walter       is a great idea; a golf course nearby is King's Grant Golf Club. Lake Walter is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a glorious local campground, and Quality Inn Ambassador is a fine spot to get some rest. During the warm months highs here at Lake Walter reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs are frequently in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Walter                  temperatures sink to the 20's. Lake Walter is a wet place that gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while November is ordinarily the driest month. Why not stop at Lake Walter Dam since you're here.
