A lake nearby is Ayscues Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake View has to offer, you can camp at Nutbush Bridge Campground. Through the warm months highs here at Lake View reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Lake View through       the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. Lake View is not the only location close by, Southerlands Pond is a close by lake; a good nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Henderson. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. There's so much to do here at Lake View that you need to camp here for a while, Steele Creek Marina is a fine place for that, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn Louisburg is a splendid choice. The high level of precipitation                  makes Lake View a quite wet site; most of the rain falls through August while April is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
