Lake Taroga gets lots of water; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while January is commonly the driest month. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Art Loeb Trail; while you're here, you could explore Bradley Creek. At Lake Taroga you can spot Aiken Mountain. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A spree to Lake Taroga wouldn't be complete without       taking a look at Connestee Falls, and Davidson River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Taroga; Black Mountain Trail is a great local trail, and there are other sites here than Lake Taroga, for example Atagahi Lake. So much amusing stuff to do here at Lake Taroga, too magnificent to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Willoughby Woods; lots of people from Brevard come here.                  This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Sunset Motel is a fine choice; if you came for an overnight stay Black Forest Family Camping is a great site to camp. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Take a hike on the Mullinax Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on French Broad River - East Fork. At Lake Taroga throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Taroga are in the 20's. You completely must fancy the Blue Ridge Mountains.
